My approach to sessions is relational, therapeutic and transformative. My goal is to help you understand the cycles of your life past, present and future so that you feel empowered to connect with your own spark of genius and navigate this complicated thing we call being human. In addition to my roots in evolutionary, queer and archetypal astrologies, a session with me often incorporates elements of traditional astrology, embodied practices, depth psychology, psychosynthesis and other modalities.
In addition to astrology consults I offer ongoing coaching work, somatic exploration sessions, supervision and mentoring for newer astrological professionals, and Deep Memory Process sessions. I teach introductory astrology courses through Continuing Ed at North Seattle College, an 8 month long Evolutionary Astrology Immersion on my own, and a monthly AstroCircle that's been going on since 2015.
Laura’s philosophy centers on the soul’s evolution through lifetimes of incarnations; that our soul chooses the complete set of circumstances to be born into in any given life. These circumstances include the date, time, location, parents and cultural system, and they provide us and the soul exactly what is needed to evolve. Your natal chart is the map of the soul’s issues/history and of your personality. Laura will explore your chart and help you understand your soul/life purpose, as well as your current life challenges.
Laura is a second-generation astrologer, practicing and teaching astrology since 1987. She studied with Jeffrey Green from 1983-86. She is the owner/coordinator of NORWAC (The Northwest Astrological Conference), established in 1984. Her family began Astrology Et Al Bookstore, in 1975, which she managed from 1983-91. She was the Coordinator for UAC 02, Registrar for UAC 12, and the Coordinator for UAC 2018. She is the current President of the WSAA and a founding board member of Kepler College.
