Marcela Andaluz is a humanistic astrologer who graduated with the highest honors in 2012 from Noel Tyl Master’s Degree Certification Course in Astrology. She served 5 terms on the Board of WSAA (2014-2019). She was Registrar for UAC 2018 and for the upcoming ISAR 2020. Currently, she is serving at the ISAR Board as ISAR Webinar Education Director. Marcela is a native of Mexico and she has a bilingual astrological practice as well as a course in Spanish of “The Art of Chart Synthesis”.

I am an aspiring astrologer, interested in helping others reach for their evolutionary path. This is so special to me because it helped me through a hard time myself. I was lost and had been interested in astrology for a long time, but not too seriously. I feel it is important to get this technique in front of as many people as possible. And I feel that the ones that need it the most will seek it out. (could be the Sag moon and Sun I have) I want to learn as much as possible about this newfound language so that I can help others. I hope that it can change things for them as much as it did for me.
Using traditional techniques with modern views, I approach astrology from a psychological, spiritual and magical point of view. I specialize in natal readings, remediation and electional timing.
My approach to astrology is trauma-informed and I have a deep passion for working with survivors including people in recovery.
I am an energy intuitive, or alchemist, and use my metaphysical senses, as well as modern and traditional astrology, to interpret my clients charts. I approach astrology similar to how I approach the energy work I offer. I have been working with an astrology mentor since the summer of 2020 and have explored other modalities, but always come back to the basics, however not "basic" using my clairsenses may seem. Whether I am working with a client on the table, or in a reading, I see myself simply as messenger or conduit, for the universe to speak through and provide information to others that ultimately will assist with their overall wellness and spiritual growth in this lifetime.

Astrology is a part of a toolset that is used for self-discovery, self-orientation and self-improvement. Captured through a humanistic psychological orientation. I see the chart as a map and the person and their reality as the landscape and territory. A client consultation is a two-way dialog of understanding, sharing and revelation. It’s very practical and client-centered.
I’ve studied astrology, off and on, since I was a teenager. I dabbled in “cookbook” astrology for years until I realized that I needed a system and specialized training. For that I sought out the world renown Noel Tyl, master astrologer. In 1996 I enrolled in Noel Tyl’s Master Degree Certification Course. After years of hard work I graduated with highest honors. During this period my client work began and has continued moving forward.
But we are all part of a bigger community. As part of giving back to my community I serve as Membership Secretary of the Washington State Astrological Association - currently in my third term.

I provide business and personal astrology consultations, as well as electional and horary astrology. There are not too many astrologers who do this type of work, but it's very important for business people to have access to this type of information. My degree is in economics and I annually write The Good Timing Guide, so anyone can use better timing to increase their success and prosperity. I also write a quarterly newsletter, with weekly email updates, The Good Timing Newsletter, which is available as an annual subscription. That newsletter and its weekly, email updates integrate my economic knowledge with my astrological business and economic knowledge. I have a radio show the first Friday of each month at 6:00 PM on www.renseradio.com. which updates listeners on the month ahead. That show is also posted on my own site shortly afterwards. I also teach prosperity training and co-authored the book Money Is an Energy Game. My co-author and I offer a free prosperity study group on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM.

My astrological studies began as a psychology undergraduate (1967-1971) with my earliest influence being Dane Rudhyar's "The Astrology of Personality" (because of its deep association with the work of Jung). I have been involved with astrology ever since then (over 50 years?!). My early love of science and geometry, combined with music studies, have led me to a modernistic view of astrology and a simultaneous respect for our ancient heritage. I am particularly interested in connecting our ancestral wisdom with modern science, which led me to write a series of essays over 30 years ago under the banner of "Quantum Astrology." Much of my current work is still about bringing our traditions into the modern world. I am a serious student of history am endlessly fascinated with the connection between evolutionary events for humanity and the corresponding planetary cycles.
I was the president of the WSAA (1992-1994), a founding trustee of Kepler College, and a member of the AFAN Steering Committee. I co-authored (with Jeff Jawer) eight years of the Barnes and Noble annual "Your Astrology Guide" (2006-2013). I wrote a daily horoscope column for over 20 years that was read my millions daily (published on Google.com, Yahoo.com, AOL.com, HuffingtonPost.com, Tarot.com, LATimes.com and more). Although I love to do individual client consultations, more time is spent on teaching online (YouTube, Astrology Hub, Patreon, etc), leading retreats (in India, Bali, Mexico, and the USA), and teach at conferences (UAC, NORWAC, ISAR, plus national conferences in the UK, Portugal, Serbia, India, Australia, Turkey, and Norway).
I am a full-time astrology and will remain so as long as I am alive. I am endlessly fascinated by the magic that astrology reveals. I am continuously amazed by how knowledge of astrology can improve our lives. I am forever indebted to astrology for the richness it brings to my life.
My approach to sessions is relational, therapeutic and transformative. My goal is to help you understand the cycles of your life past, present and future so that you feel empowered to connect with your own spark of genius and navigate this complicated thing we call being human. In addition to my roots in evolutionary, queer and archetypal astrologies, a session with me often incorporates elements of traditional astrology, embodied practices, depth psychology, psychosynthesis and other modalities.
In addition to astrology consults I offer ongoing coaching work, somatic exploration sessions, supervision and mentoring for newer astrological professionals, and Deep Memory Process sessions. I teach introductory astrology courses through Continuing Ed at North Seattle College, an 8 month long Evolutionary Astrology Immersion on my own, and a monthly AstroCircle that's been going on since 2015.
