What brought you to astrology?
With my Sun, Jupiter, Midheaven, and Mercury in Pisces, I could usually recognize myself in Pisces Sun descriptions growing up. Rather than innate skepticism, the idea of correspondence between the above and below also made intuitive sense to me. Combined with my natural drive to understand myself and others more deeply, discovering birth charts and natal astrology sparked an obsession to learn everything I could about the craft.
Who did you study astrology with?
Rosie Finn was my first teacher and Demetra George is my most important. I’ve also learned a lot from my many friends and colleagues in the astrology community.

- Soul, Symbol, and Imagination by Brian Clark

Is there a planet, sign, or aspect you’ve been exploring lately that represents an archetype or energy that feels important to you right now?
I’ve been co-facilitating a course on Planets of Night with Jason Holley and have been feeling the profound importance of Night and her children—along with the Moon, Venus, and Mars—in relation to the civilizational transition we are living through. Again and again, Night and Darkness appear at the beginning of creation stories as generative ground. Although it’s common to name the Moon as one of the most important components of every astrology chart, I’ve also been uncovering deeper layers of what that truly means.
Are there any additional comments you would like to make about your lecture?
I look forward to illuminating the significance of the lots of Fortune and Daimon in natal charts! It creates a perfect transition to learning how to work with the timing periods created with the lots of Fortune and Daimon through Zodiacal Releasing in the Saturday workshop. For those attending the Zodiacal Releasing workshop, it would be best to gain access to a free resource like astro-seek.com where you can calculate your Zodiacal Releasing periods so you can reference your own chart and timing.
