What brought you to astrology?

The plants brought me to Astrology. I was working as an herbalist and I was super curious about the correspondences between plants and planets and it led me down the rabbit hole!

Why do you practice astrology? What makes it juicy for you?

I practice Astrology because it allows me to translate something that I have always seen but could not put into words. What makes it juicy is to see people’s lives become more juicy with my practice as well as being able to experience a deeper relationship with reality.

What is your specialty, or focus?

My focus and speciality is having a holistic approach that allows for insights into the correspondences between concrete events, psychological, emotional, and physiological experiences in people’s lives that enhances understanding, which breeds more peace in people’s lives.

Is there a planet, sign, or aspect you’ve been exploring lately that represents an archetype or energy that feels important to you right now?

Since I am in a Sun ruled year, I would go with the Sun.

What is your picture of astrology in the future?

My picture of astrology in the future is a science and art that can be utilized as a universal translation device in order to assist people with understanding the holistic nature of the lives of humans and how it is interconnected with all other things here on planet earth.

Are there any additional comments you would like to make about your lecture and workshop?

No additional comments besides inviting everyone to come with an open heart and receptive mind.

If you discovered a new planet, or asteroid, what would you name it and why?

I would name it Primordial Water, because I always desire to be in relationship with the watery abyss that I perceive we all spring forth from, so I would pay homage to it.

Cameron Allen began his path to understanding mind-body awareness with a degree in health and sports science and psychology. Seeing that there was more to understand outside of the colonized education system, he began seeking understanding through direct experience with nature, Astrology, herbalism, rootwork,  yoga, and other indigenous technologies. Cameron began his practice as an herbalist and astrologer immersed in the community from day one and that afforded him the ability to learn from the people and plants what the wisdom of the planets can bring when we join them in communion.
