What brought you to astrology?

I discovered astrology through a reading with my first astrology teacher, John Marchesella on Friday, June 17, 1994 at 11:30 am! My 14 ½ year relationship ended, which completely upended my life (Saturn across my Aquarius Ascendant). Friends encouraged me to go for an astrology reading because I was at a life crossroads. He blew me away with his accuracy about my ex and our relationship. I called him the following Monday and asked how I could learn astrology. He was starting a beginner course on Monday, September 12, 1994 at 6:30 pm. I sat on his couch every week for 2 ½ years and learned astrology!

Why do you practice astrology? What makes it juicy for you?

I love talking to clients about their lives, purpose and the different cycles traveling around their charts. I am continually impressed by astrology’s ability to delineate, advise and support us as we live our lives.

What is your specialty, or focus?

Predictive Astrology.

Is there a planet, sign, or aspect you’ve been exploring lately that represents an archetype or energy that feels important to you right now?

Eris’ square to Pluto. She’s a mighty powerful dwarf planet currently having made 3 of 5 squares to the Lord of the Underworld. With the USA Sibley chart having its Pluto return, she’s an important part of the story.

What is your picture of astrology in the future?

After the USA gets through our Pluto return, the entire sky switches to Fire and Air which should be great fun and full of visionary activism! In 2020, we had such a major reset of our lives with the Saturn/Pluto (38 years) conjunction, the Jupiter/Pluto (13 years) conjunction, and the Jupiter/Saturn (20 years) conjunction all within a few degrees of each other and on the world point of 22.5 Capricorn. These great cycles herald a whole new world! Each of us have an opportunity to create our lives and make a better world! Plus SO many people seem interested in astrology and learning about it! I think the years ahead will be an exciting chapter in astrology’s long luminous history!

Are there any additional comments you would like to make about your lecture and workshop?

To develop a good, solid practice of astrology, it is essential to understand and master predictive techniques. Having a solid skill set of tools which you know how to use helps you and your clients enormously. Plus, we are going to have fun and laughter. What a way to spend a day!?

If you discovered a new planet, or asteroid, what would you name it and why?

Max. Options, Initiation and Crossroads~ totaling a 1 of beginnings! Plus it was the name of my recently deceased cat, a Taurus Sun, Pisces Moon companion for over 20 years.
