2016 is a mutable year and much of the action occurs along the Virgo/Pisces fault line, with Neptune and Chiron continuing their long treks through Pisces, Jupiter in Virgo, and the nodal axis straddling both ends of the polarity.  With Jupiter and the North Node in Virgo, we are especially called to develop a grounded, realistic vision that can distinguish ordering patterns and find meaning within apparent chaos.  In this lecture, we’ll return to the little-discussed Greek myths about the two constellations themselves in order to do just that.  In particular we will explore how cycles of over-control and out-of-control, repression and the return of the repressed, hope and disappointment, destruction and refuge, are taking shape macrocosmically in the world around us, and microcosmically in the individual psyche.
