What brought you to astrology?

Reading the astrology column written by Sydney Omarr printed in the “Chicago Sun-Times” is what garnered my interest in the subject.

Why do you practice astrology? What makes it juicy for you?

I practice astrology, because I get know everybody’s business according to the Sun, Moon, and planets. I keep my business a secret to myself. Lol!

What is your specialty, or focus?

In addition to Natal Astrology, my focus areas are Electional Astrology, Vocational Astrology, and Mundane Astrology. I will add Financial Astrology to round out the set.

Is there a planet, sign, or aspect you’ve been exploring lately that represents an archetype or energy that feels important to you right now?

Yes, it would be Uranus in Taurus. Uranus the planet of the revolution, rebellion, the sudden & unexpected is in the money sign of Taurus. Uranus entered Taurus on June 6, 1934. On this same day, then President FDR signed the Securities Exchange Act, which created the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC is the regulatory agency for financial securities, such as stocks and bonds.

Now, Uranus is in Taurus and cryptocurrency is here to stay. This digital currency may revolutionize the world monetary system as we currently know it.

What is your picture of astrology in the future?

Kepler College of the Astrological Arts & Sciences will be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as an institution of higher learning that offers quality education!

What advice do you have for young up and coming astrologers? Anything that you wish you would have known when you started your journey?

I would advise young, up and coming astrologers to obtain a quality education (astrology), preferably from Kepler College. Identify a seasoned astrologer who you like and who may be willing to mentor you. Also, be willing to volunteer your time and talent by serving on the board of a local or international astrology organization and by supporting local, regional, national, or international astrology conference as an attendee or volunteer. Keep in mind that you only get out of it what you put into it.

Are there any additional comments you would like to make about your lecture and workshop?

Yes, the lecture and workshop will be fun and engaging. I will ask for audience participation. Learning can be fun, especially when it is about astrology!

If you discovered a new planet, or asteroid, what would you name it and why?

I would name the planet or asteroid OMARI. Need I say more?

Omari Martin believes that astrology is a tool that can be used to gain insight into human personality and behavior through a process of analysis for which clients can obtain answers to questions of self-inquiry resulting in achieving soul assessment, soul development, and soul fulfillment.
